Conditioning Agent
Improves the texture, appearance, and manageability of hair and skin by reducing friction, locking in moisture, and smoothing surfaces.
Emollient
Softens and smooths skin by filling gaps between skin cells, creating a protective barrier to lock in moisture.
Emulsifier
Helps blend oil and water without separating by stabilizing them into a uniform mixture, to help ingredients play nice together in creams.
Humectant
Attracts and holds water, drawing moisture from the air or deeper skin layers to the surface to hydrate and plump the skin or hair, preventing dryness.
Moisturizer
Draws moisture into the skin and creates a protective barrier to prevent water loss, keeping skin and hair soft, smooth, and healthy.
Preservative
Prevents spoilage, decay, or discoloration by inhibiting microbial growth.
Vitamin
Acts as antioxidants, boost collagen, reduce inflammation, and improve skin texture, hydration, and tone.
